This Privacy Policy explains how Fitsio ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at fitsio.my. We operate from 1-05, Amaya Service Apartment, Amaya Maluri, Jalan Jejaka 2, Maluri, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and provide physiotherapy and fitness training services.

We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. We do not run any advertising or analytics tracking until you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

1. Information We Collect

Information collected automatically. To deliver and secure the site, our hosting provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and the time of your request. Beyond this, analytics and advertising tools only collect information about your activity — the pages you view, the services you look at, and WhatsApp clicks — after you have given consent (see Section 2).

Information you provide.We do not currently operate online booking or contact forms on this site. If you reach out via WhatsApp using the buttons on this site, your WhatsApp number and the contents of the messages you send are shared with us through Meta's WhatsApp service.

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Your consent comes first.When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. We do not load any advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not share any information with Meta, until you select "Accept". If you select "Reject" — or simply ignore the banner — none of the technologies below are activated. The only cookie we store beforehand is a small first-party cookie (fitsio_consent) that remembers your choice; it is strictly necessary and contains no personal data.

If you consent, we use the following technologies:

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel. A small piece of code that records when you view a page, view a specific service, or click a WhatsApp button. We use this data to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to improve our advertising. Meta receives this information directly, and may set its own cookies (such as _fbp).
  • Meta Conversions API. Alongside the browser Pixel, our server sends the same events (for example, a page view or a WhatsApp click) directly to Meta, together with technical data such as your IP address and browser type, to improve the accuracy of ad measurement. This also happens only after you consent.
  • Google Maps. We embed a Google Map of our location in the footer. Google loads its own cookies and may collect information about your visit when the map is shown.

Changing or withdrawing your choice.You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further tracking and removes Meta's cookies. You can also adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/settings. Your choice does not affect your ability to use this site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Measure which advertising channels and creatives generate the most interest in our services
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and layout
  • Respond to enquiries and bookings you initiate through WhatsApp
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or misuse of the site

4. Sharing Your Information

We share information with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the site and our advertising:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — for ad measurement and audience targeting via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only after you consent
  • Google LLC — for the Maps embed in our footer

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with any other third party except where required by law.

5. Your Rights Under PDPA

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Withdraw consent for us to process your data
  • Request that we limit how we process your data

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Analytics data collected through the Meta Pixel is retained according to Meta's own retention policy, which you can review on Meta's website.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices or applicable laws change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
